The Deloitte invited applications for the post of Tax Technology - Deputy Manager.

Qualifications

• Good communication and presentation skills (to be able to represent Deloitte).
• Preferably having experience in business/client facing role.
• Hands on and detail oriented, with a strong ability to co-ordinate across different Geographies and with different stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple functions at same point of time.
• Ability to travel if required to customer locations/ cities
• Between 3 – 15 years (depending on the level the candidate fits into)
• Domain experience as Tax Specialist or Finance Consultant (or similar).
• Vertex/Thomson Reuters / Avalara solutions implementation expertise.
• MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• At least 2-5 full end-to-end implementation experience.
• BE - MBA - CA - CS - CWA- Commerce Graduate
  

Responsibilities

• Experience of implementing Vertex / Thomson Reuters / Avalarasolutions for businesses
• Acted as go-between between business and Vertex / Thomson Reuters / Avalaraproduct/solutions teams
• Design and build implementation solutions in tax software for the clients
• Support clients in creating test cases for testing the Indirect Tax Solution
• Work with client and Global Product team members to deliver effective solutions to clients
• Configure and set-up businesses on Vertex / Thomson Reuters / Avalaraplatforms based on the requirement gathered for software design and development.
• Work with development and QA team to ensure requirements are realistic and deliverable and provide input into developing and modifying systems to meet stakeholder needs.
• Perform application testing for Vertex / Thomson Reuters / Avalara implementations.
• Proactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements to the process.
• Support businesses on UAT and parallel runs and provide end-user documentation.
• Deliver multiple client trainings both for end-user and super-user roles.
• Transition business to support after successful training and go-live.
• Provide training to new hires on product implementation.
• Record, update and maintain project implementation details which served as documentation for future implementations.
