CA Neeraj Udhwani, a 33-year-old chartered accountant from Jaipur, lost his life in the recent terror attack at Pahalgam, Kashmir. Neeraj was working in Dubai and had come to India to attend a friend’s wedding. The news of his death has left his family, friends, and colleagues in deep shock.
According to reports, Neeraj and his wife Arushi traveled from Dubai to India on April 16, 2025. They went to Shimla through Chandigarh to attend the wedding of one of their close friends. After the wedding celebrations, most of their friends returned home, but Neeraj decided to extend his stay in India for a short vacation.
On April 20, 2025, Neeraj went alone to Kashmir to enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley before heading back to Dubai. His wife did not accompany him on this trip. Sadly, during his stay in Pahalgam, he became one of the victims of the terror attack that took place there.

The attack has claimed several lives, including that of Neeraj, and has once again raised concerns about the safety of tourists in the Kashmir region. Neeraj was remembered by his friends and colleagues as a hardworking professional and a kind-hearted person who always had a smile on his face.
The government and security agencies are investigating the incident, and leaders across the country have strongly condemned the attack. The loss of innocent lives, including Neeraj’s, has highlighted the ongoing threats in the region and the need for stronger security measures.
