The Tata Cummins Private Limited has invited applications for the post of Direct Tax Manager.
The Tata Cummins Pvt. Ltd. is a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Motors Limited, India’s largest automobile manufacturer and Cummins Inc., USA, world leaders in design and manufacture of diesel engines. The entity manufactures high performance, reliable and durable mid-range (B&L) engines in the 75 to 400 HP range that not only comply with current and future emission norms, but are also serviceable globally.
Job Description
- CA with minimum 4-8 years of experience in Direct Tax
- Should have completed 3-4 years of Tax assessments and filing tax returns
- Transfer Pricing knowledge Forms 15c(a) and 15c(b)
- TDS Advisory (Advising BUs on whether it is applicable and at what rate)
- Yearly Tax Audit (how many tax audit cycles have you done?)
- Quarterly TDS returns
- Accounting of Taxes
- Advanced Excel (someone who knows V Lookup, Pivots as there are sometimes 4000 line items)
- This person will also be managing DSIR deductions (Department of Science and Industrial Research) where there is 150% deduction because of our test cells. This is an optional thing as not all candidates will be working in firms that have research centres here.
