The Amazon has invited applications for the post of Collections Manager, Amazon Business.

The role will be leading and developing a large team of Managers and Analysts, covering end to end AR Collections process. Responsibilities will include hiring, training, talent development; managing and prioritizing workload and achieving effective results in a fast-paced, growing environment; ensuring existing GAR policies and procedures are followed; managing annual performance targets; monitoring and delivering on the key performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up process priorities and aligning with overall organization priorities.
  • Hands on expertise in end to end collection and AR management
  • Strategize to increase the collections on past due invoices and increase account penetration
  •  Work with CAMs and collection analysts to increase collection efficiency
  • Contribute to improvements in collection projects by identifying issues and proposing relevant tools for continuous improvement of collection protocol like dunning and post dunning actions for long term sustainability of the process
  •  Work in compliance with company policies and appropriate regulations. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, policies and procedures as per CSI and other audit orgs within Amazon
  •  Maintain accurate and clear documentation for operational procedures and activities and customer communication
  • Evaluating and communicating accounts receivable controller-ship risks with the Finance Operations, assessing the adequacy of existing controls and implementing new controls as needed.
  • Driving organization’s strategy around vendor/customer experience. With continually looking at improvement in metrics, SLA by process improvement and automation.
  • Ensure customer experience goals are met
  • Maintain abandon calls at the defined level
  • SLA and TAT of pending tasks and TT to be adhered at all times

Qualifications:

  • CA, CPA, CFA or MBA Finance with 12+ years of experience in Accounts Receivables with at least 7 years of people management and collections experience. In depth knowledge of Order to Cash Process
  • Interpersonal skills, Communication Skills, Time and Team Management, Planning and Organizing Skills, Excellent in follows and highly result oriented. Should possess good listening skills.
  • Experience with complex problem solving using Lean / Six Sigma techniques desired. Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate business processes
