Responsibilities
- Preparation of Indirect tax returns for AXA XL entities Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) return value Added Tax (VAT) and GST returns Other para-fiscal tax returns Collation.
- Preparation of information required for Tax audits
- Preparation of reconciliations for the tax accounts.
- Support the team in ad-hoc project requests responsible for end to end compliance and related reconciliations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely returns.
- Responsible for updated process documentation to reflect best practice
- VAT/IPT Control Frameworks (maintaining and evidencing them)Responsible for monitoring all unallocated and allocated tax accounts
Skills Required
- Qualified CA 2019 pass outs with 0-1 years of experience.
- Strong in MS office, specifically, Word and ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Understanding of basic indirect tax and accounting concepts.
- Good analytical skills – the ability to analyze large volumes of data (both narrative and numerical) is important
- Good organization skills – the team has to obtain and collate information and data from multiple sources
- Ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment
