The Flipkart invited applications for the post of Manager - Finance Business Partner

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias, cross functional collaboration and Team Management
• 5+ years’ relevant experience in positions that require analysis, reporting financial results, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results
• 5+ years’ experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis
• 5+ years’ experience with Excel advanced functions
• Preferred Qualifications: CA/MBA
• Delivering high quality financial controls, work in a constantly changing environments motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to understand and mitigate business and financial risks
• Lead business agenda on new insights / business cases to help augment market share
• Thought Leadership to help business growth agenda
• Strong aptitude and financial acumen
• Hold and remain accountable to category PnL Targets on topline and bottomline

Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data – and create financial models for decision support
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Mentor the team and ensure learning curve for their growth
• Ensure maintenance of Data archives for easy consumption whenever required
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision Support
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and Forecasts
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
