Qualification
Responsibilities
1.Tax Compliance Management: Oversee and ensure timely and accurate filing of all indirect tax returns related to real estate transactions and operations.
2.Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in indirect tax laws, regulations, and rulings impacting the real estate industry. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and effectively manage any tax audits or inquiries from tax authorities.
3.Transaction Support: Provide support for real estate transactions and in assessing tax implications to mitigate risks as well as optimizing tax incidences.
4.Tax Reporting and Analysis: Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting of indirect taxes. Conduct thorough analysis of tax data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
5.Reconciliation: Ensure close co-ordination with finance team to drive GST reconciliations.
Notice Management: Working with close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that department notices are responded to in a timely manner. Knowledge about preparing, reviewing, filing and pursuing litigations at various forum such that there is no or limited impact to the Organization.
