The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has issued an e-brochure for individual taxpayers with an aim to make tax filing easier.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes launched the new IT e-filing portal on 7th June 2021.The last date to file the annual ITR for salaried taxpayers and non-auditable cases is July 31.
The taxpayers who want to file income tax return can enter the relevant data directly online at e-filing portal and submit it. Taxpayer can file ITR 1 and ITR 4 online. Login to e-Filing portal by entering user ID (PAN), Password, Captcha code and click 'Login'. Click on the 'e-File' menu and click 'Income Tax Return' link.
