The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) vide Notification No. 42/2016 dated 2 June 2016 has notified the Cost Inflation Index (CII) as 1125 for Financial Year 2016-17 / Assessment Year 2017-18. Last Financial Year it was 1081. Read the full text of the Official gazette here.
