The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has extended E-Payment of Service Tax till the midnight of March 31st , 2017.
In a circular issued by CBEC said that, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had instructed all agency banks shall keep the counters of their designated branches conducting Government business open up to 8pm on March 30 and up to 6pm on March 31, 2017.
All electronic transactions would, however, continue till midnight of March 31st 2017, it added.
