The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs ( CBIC ) has officially approved Yogayatan Ports as a designated site for import and export operations.
This approval grants the port permission to handle international trade, allowing it to facilitate smoother cargo movements.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs hereby introduces the following amendments to the Government of India, Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ), Notification No. 62/1994-Customs ( N.T. ), dated 21st November 1994, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), under S.O. 829(E), dated 21st November 1994.

In the said notification, in the Table, under serial number 8 pertaining to the State of Maharashtra, in columns (3) and (4), after item (18) in column (3) and the corresponding entries in column (4), the following item and entries shall be added:—
