The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has notified the extension of Basic Customs Duty (BCD) and IGST exemption benefit for EOU’s till March 31, 2022.
The Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary for the public interest, amended notification No. 52/2003-Customs, dated the 31st March 2003.
In the notification, in the opening paragraph, in the proviso, for the figures, letters and words “1st day of April 2021”, the figures, letters, and words “1st day of April 2022” shall be substituted.
