The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has amended the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018 and notified Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment (Ninth Amendment) Regulations, 2021 to extend the transitional provisions of the said regulations from June 30, 2022 till 31st December 2022.
Last year, the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment (Ninth Amendment) Regulations, 2021has been amended the Regulation 15 of the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018 to extend the transitional provisions of the said regulations from December 31, 2021 till June 30, 2022.
A notification issued by the Board on Thursday stated that “in sub-regulation (2), for the words, figures and letters, “till 30th June 2022”, the words, figures and letters, “till 31 st December 2022” shall be substituted.”
