The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has notified the exchange rate of Norwegian and Swedish Kroner for import and export of goods with effect from 14th July 2023.
By virtue of the authority granted under section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs hereby introduces the following amendments to the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs Notification No.50/2023-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated 6th July, 2023. These amendments will be effective from 14th July, 2023.
In the SCHEDULE-I of the said Notification, for serial No.10 and 16 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: –
| Sl.No | Foreign Currency | Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees in Import of Goods | Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees in Export of Goods |
| 10. | Norwegian Kroner | 8.25 | 8.00 |
| 16. | Swedish Kroner | 8.05 | 7.80 |
The rate of the Norwegian Kroner as per the notification issued on 7th July 2023 is 7.85 for import of goods and 7.60 for the export of the goods. And the rate of the Swedish Kroner was 7.65 for the import of the goods and 7.40 for the export of the goods.
