CBIC notifies vacancy of Technical Members in NAA

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) notified the vacancy of Technical Members in National Anti-Profiteering (NAA). 

The Under Secretary of the Government of India, S.A.Ansari notified the 2 posts of Technical Member in National Anti-Profiteering lying vacant.

In terms of Section 122 (b) the Central Goods & Services Tax Rules, 2017, officers who have been Commissioners of State Tax or Central Tax for at least one year or have held an equivalent post under the existing law, are eligible for the post of Technical Member.

The Technical Member of the Authority shall hold office for a term of two years from the date on which he enters upon his office, or until he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier shall be eligible for reappointment.

“It is requested that the above post may kindly circulated among the eligible officers under your charge and duly filled in applications of willing and eligible officers, duly authenticated, may be forwarded through e-pratiniyukti (https://dahrdchic.gov.in/deputation/login) to the Board latest by July 22, 2021 after verifying the particulars furnished by the applicants and it may be ensured that the same are correct before the application is forwarded to the Board,” the CBIC notified.

It may noted that no action will be taken on physical copies, advance copies and on the applications received without proper authentication/verification or the application received after July 22, 2021.
