Central Govt to Organise Monthly Workshops on E-Commerce Exports during 1st Week of Each Month: Register here

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, through Trade Notice No. 25/2023-24 issued on September 1, 2023, has announced the organization of monthly workshops on E-commerce exports, scheduled for the first week of every month.

Please note Paragraph 9.07 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, which requires the provision of support and outreach efforts to encourage E-Commerce Exports. Besides raising awareness about e-Commerce regulations and procedures, there is also a requirement to enhance skills and build capacity to promote e-Commerce exports. To address this need, the directorate suggests the implementation of monthly workshops focused on e-Commerce export activities.

Workshop Topics

The workshops shall cover aspects related to cross-border logistics, Postal and Customs compliances and cross-border payment mechanisms as well as any other topics of relevance.

Workshop Schedule

The proposed workshops shall be held during the 1st week of each month through Video Conference. In-person workshops shall also be organised where feasible.

The ministry invites seasoned e-Commerce exporters who are willing to share their expertise and guidance with new export entrepreneurs. If you are interested in becoming a guest speaker, please send your Expression of Interest via email to ecommerce-dgft@gov.in.
