The CL&CGC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) have invited comments on various provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
“The Companies Act 2013 has been notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in the year 2013. Since then the Government is regularly bringing out updates/clarifications by issuing Notifications, Circulars, Amendment in the Rules, Companies (Removal of Difficulty) Orders etc. Also, amendments have been made consequent to Companies (Amendment) Act, 2015 and the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017,” the ICAI said in a statement.
“Considering difficulties/ challenges in smooth implementation of the Act brought to our notice by the membership the Corporate Laws and Corporate Governance Committee of ICAI invites suggestions/comments from members on various provisions of the Act and Rules thereunder,” it said.
