The Institutes of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has notified the extension of the last date of admission for Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) Course students.
“It is hereby notified that the last date of admission for CAT Course students stands extended up to 15th September, 2021 (Wednesday) for December, 2021 term of examination,” the ICMAI in the circular said.
Earlier, the institute has extended the last date for admission to the Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) course for December 2021 exams to 31st August 2021.
To meet the huge demand for entry level Accountants in India, ICAI has launched a short term Course-Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) for 12th (10+2) passed and Under Graduates. This Course has been introduced in consultation with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. CAT equip students become well versed with the maintenance of accounts, preparation of Tax Returns, Filing of Returns under Companies Act, Filing of Returns under Income Tax, GST, Customs Act, Export & Import documentation etc.
