The Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia ( INSWA ) unit of The Coca-Cola Company has announced the appointment of Mukti Hariharan, an Associate Chartered Accountant ( ACA ) as its new Vice President of Finance, effective November 1, 2024. She holds an All-India Rank (AIR) of 37 from the 2000-2003 ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) batches.

“I’m thrilled to share that I will be joining The Coca-Cola Company as the CFO for INSWA”, shared Mukti Hariharan in her LinkedIn. She added that “Last week marked my final days at Lenskart, and what an incredible journey it has been. I’m excited for the future of the business, and I feel immense pride in the high-performance team I had the opportunity to build and lead. Working alongside Peyush Bansal Neha Bansal , Amit Chaudhary , Ramneek Khurana Shweta Shukla , and Ashwani Agarwal has been an absolute privilege. Their passion, drive, and unwavering commitment made this journey truly remarkable.”

She takes over from Harsh Bhutani, who has transitioned to the role of Chief Financial Officer at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCB), a key bottling partner for Coca-Cola.

In her new position, Hariharan will lead the financial strategy and operations for INSWA. Her role will focus on ensuring that the company meets its growth objectives and enhances its financial performance throughout the region.

Before joining Coca-Cola, Hariharan served as the Chief Financial Officer at Lenskart from April 2023 for over a year. Prior to her role at Lenskart, she worked at Hindustan Unilever, where she spent 2 years and 8 months as Director of M&A Treasury. She was later promoted to Chief Financial Officer for the Home Care division of Unilever, a position she held for 1 year and 10 months.

She has also held key finance positions at Credit Suisse Investment Banking and worked with leading firms such as Bennett & Coleman, JM Morgan Stanley, and BSR & Co. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate degree in analytical finance and strategic marketing from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
