The Central Government on Friday has notified the waiver of Customs Duty on Inflammatory Diagnostic (marker) kits.
The exemption on Inflammatory Diagnostic (marker) kits, namely- IL6, D-Dimer, CRP, LDH, Ferritin, Pro Calcitonin (PCT), and blood gas reagents will be applicable till 31st October, 2021, to supplement testing efforts.
The Government has exempted the Custom Duty as there was an immediate need to augment the supply of Inflammatory Diagnostic (marker) kits required for patient care both at home and in hospitals.
