DGFT amends Export Policy of Textile Raw Material for Masks and Coveralls [Read Notification]

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on Tuesday notified the amendment in the Export Policy of textile raw material for masks and coveralls.
The Central Government notified the amendment in the Notification No. 18 dated July 13, 2020, amending Schedule 2 of the ITCHS Export policy related to the export of textile raw material for masks and coveralls.
The Current Export Policy of non-woven fabric for 25-70 GSM is prohibited, but, the current policy of the non-woven fabric other than 25-70 GSM except the melt-brown category of non-woven fabric is free.
However, the revised policy of non-woven fabric for any GSM except the melt-brown category of non-woven fabric is freely allowed for export.
