DGFT Amends Rice Export Inspection Rules for some European Countries [Read Notification]

Certain European Countries namely United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland and some European states will require Certificate of Inspection from EIC/EIAS

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade ( DGFT ) has amended the inspection rules of export of Basmati and Non-Basmati rice to EU member states and other European Countries namely United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland only will require Certificate of Inspection from EIC/EIAS.

The government has notified that Certificate of Inspection by the Export Inspection Council / Export Inspection Agency is mandatory for the European countries namely United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland along with some EU member states. However such inspection is not needed in the remaining countries.
