The Directorate General of Foreign Trade ( DGFT ), vide Trade Notice No. 01/2024-25 dated 1nd April 2024 has issued the directives regarding the submission of digitised Aayat Niryat Forms  ( ANFs ), appendices. etc.

According to the directive, all applications related to these ANFs and Appendices must now be exclusively submitted online via the DGFT Website ( https://dgft.gov.in ), eliminating the need for physical or soft copies.

Furthermore, it’s important to note that Importer-Exporter Code ( IEC ) details are now accessible online to DGFT ( HQ ), Regional Authorities ( RAs ), Export Promotion Councils ( EPCs ), and other relevant entities.

Similarly, Registration-cum-Membership Certificates ( RCMCs ) and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises ( MSMEs ) status can be electronically accessed through DGFT Online Systems and the MSME UDYAM Registration Portal ( https://udyamregistration.gov.in )  respectively.

However, certain ANFs and Appendices may still require certification by professionals such as Chartered Accountants, Chartered Engineers, Cost Accountants, Company Secretaries, etc., and may not be entirely digitised at present. Efforts are underway to digitise these forms, enabling certifying authorities to digitally certify them directly on the DGFT Website. Until then, copies of these documents may be uploaded online.

Importantly, it was reiterated that no hard or soft copies of digitized ANFs, Appendices, IEC, RCMC, or MSME Udyam Registration certificates need to be submitted to DGFT ( HQ ) or its Regional Authorities. Additionally, there is no requirement to upload such documents alongside online applications.

Furthermore, all deficiency letters and correspondences related to online applications must be issued and responded to exclusively online. Physical paper responses to such communications will not be entertained.

Any difficulties in compliance or feedback regarding these processes can be communicated via email to DGFT ( HQ ) at egtf-dgft@gov.in.
