DGFT extends Export Period for Broken Rice to Senegal and Gambia though NCEL Until November 30, 2024 [Read Notification]

The Central Government, under the authority vested by Sections 3 and 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, in conjunction with the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, has made amendments to Notification No. 46 dated 30th November 2023, pertaining to the export of Broken Rice to Senegal and Gambia through NCEL.

The amendment extended the time period for the export of Broken Rice to Senegal and Gambia, as outlined in Notification No. 46, for an additional six months. This extension pushes the deadline to 30th November 2024.

The notification states as follows:

“S.O. (E). - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government amends Notification No. 46 dated 30.11.2023 specific to the export of Broken Rice to Senegal and Gambia through NCEL, as under: -

The time period for export of Broken rice to Senegal and Gambia for the quantity notified vide Notification No. 46 dated 30.11.2023 has been further extended for 6 months, till 30th November 2024.”
