The Ministry of Commerce & Industry has issued Notification No. 56 dated 04.02.2025, announcing an amendment to the export policy concerning De-Oiled Rice Bran. As per the notification, the export of De-Oiled Rice Bran is now prohibited until September 30, 2025.
The decision has been taken under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and in accordance with the Foreign Trade Policy 2023. This amendment modifies the previous Notification No. 23/2024-25 dated August 16, 2024.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has enforced this export prohibition to regulate the domestic supply of De-Oiled Rice Bran, ensuring sufficient availability for local industries, particularly livestock feed manufacturers.

The notification has been issued under the authority of Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Director General of Foreign Trade & Ex-Officio Additional Secretary, Government of India.
