DGFT updates RBI-Authorised Banks for Gold and Silver Imports in HBP: Check Authorised Banks Here [Read Notification]
11 banks are authorised to import both silver and gold w.e.f. 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025, however 3 banks are authorised to import gold only.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade ( DGFT ), vide public notice no. 54/2023 dated 28th March 2024 has amended the Handbook Procedures 2023 with respect to the import of gold and silver through RBI- authorised banks.
A. LIST OF BANKS AUTHORISED BY RESERVE BANK OF INDIA TO IMPORT BOTH GOLD AND SILVER FOR FY 2024-25 WITH EFFECT FROM 01.04.2024 AND VALID UPTO 31.03.2025.
