Education/Qualification
Chartered Accountant, Cost accountant, LLB
Roles
- To ensure timely filing of DT and IDT returns across allocated entities/ business vertical
- To ensure timely payment of taxes
- To ensure timely completion of assessments of service tax and VAT for the pre-GST regime
- To ensure timely completion of TDS and corporate tax assessments
- To ensure timely replies to all notices from tax authorities
- Ability and confidence to deal with senior tax officials directly
- To advise various stakeholders and business partners on various business initiatives
Responsibilities
- Data analysis for tax filings
- Thorough experience of extracting data from ERP and in-house tech systems
- Ability to work in high tech environment
- Independent decision making
- Ability to manage a team of 4-6 persons
Skills Required
- 15+ years of post-qualification experience managing tax compliance in Big-4 or for large companies in India
- Head of tax for a mid-large sized company in India
- Professional Qualification- Chartered Accountant
- Additional professional qualification (desirable)-LLB, Company Secretary
- Good interpretation skills of tax laws, rules and procedures very high standards of integrity and work ethics
