In a significant operation supporting the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence ( DRI ) has seized 72 litres of Amphetamine, concealed in 240 cans, each containing 300 ml.
The shipment, which had arrived from South Africa at the New Courier Terminal in New Delhi, was falsely declared as “Cans of Juice for sample.” However, field-testing kits confirmed the presence of Amphetamine, a powerful and illegal stimulant.

The seized shipment, valued at approximately Rs. 150 crore, is believed to have been intended for distribution in the region. The discovery highlights the increasing efforts of law enforcement agencies to tackle the growing menace of drug trafficking in India.
One individual has been arrested in connection with the seizure, and further investigations are currently underway to uncover more details about the operation and the network behind the shipment.
