The Economic Survey is to be tabled by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, beginning at 12 P.M. today, the 31st of January, 2025, prior to the presentation of the Union Budget 2025-26.
The Economic Survey is a comprehensive report of the current economic trajectory of the nation, while also serving as a prelude to the forthcoming budget, laying the reasoning and groundwork for economic decisions that are set to impact millions of Indians.
As is tradition, the Economic Survey is presented in the Parliament a day before the presentation of the Union Budget. The Economic Survey 2024-25 is slated to be tabled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha at 12 P.M. and in the Rajya Sabha at 2 P.M. today.
Following the presentation of the Budget the Finance Minister along with key members of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India will convene a press conference where they shall present the allocation of budget and the various introductions and changes proposed to the anticipating 1.4 Billion citizens of the Republic of India.
