The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has extended the time limit for filing the Return of Provident Fund(PF) Contribution for the period of October 2019 to March 2020.
In a Circular issued by ESIC said that, In continuation of this office letter of ex. number dated 17.03.2020 on the subject noted above. it is informed that the Director-General, in the exercise of powers vested under regulation 100, has further relaxed the provisions as entered in regulation 26 of the Employees Suite Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950.
Accordingly. the Employers are allowed to the Return of Contribution, to 11.06.2020 the contribution period from October 2019 to March 2020.
Employees’ State Insurance is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme for Indian workers. The fund is managed by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation according to rules and regulations stipulated in the ESI Act 1948.
