The commissioner of Custom (Imports) on Friday amended the Public Notice No. 54/2020 dated March 27, 2020, where the date for the facilitation of Clearance of Import Cargo extended till June 3, 2020, due to extension in COVID-19 Lockdown.
In the view of further extension of the lockdown period till 31 May 2020 para 3 of P.N 54/2020, mentioning IGM filed on or after 20th March 2020, if filed late for clearance of import consignment "shall be read amended as IGM filed on or after 20th March 2020, but on or before 31.05.2020, if filed late on or before 03.06.2020, of import consignment".
Other contents of the Public Notice No. 54/2020 dated March 27, 2020 will remain the same.
