The Dell has invited applications for the post of Senior Advisor Financial Analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, interpret and implement financial analysis for financial planning and control of the engineering group
- Perform various Outlooks during the fiscal year and be deeply involved in the Annual Operating Plan
- Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance
- Prepare recommendations for financial plans, trend future requirements for various engineering programs and operating forecasts
- Research and studies covering rates of return, depreciation outlooks, capex investment opportunities, life cycle of various products and required engineering support
- Assist in monthly closing activities
- Analysis of headcount support, management and best/rest ratios
- Help mentor and develop FDP and junior financial analysts
- Prepare monthly and quarterly read-outs to the senior management of the engineering groups on its financial performance
- Various adhoc projects and be involved in various Hoshin initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
- Experience in finance specifically with a tech company would be ideal but not required
- The ability to communicate business objectives and recognize financial and accounting implications of business plans and decisions
- Strong analytical skills to deliver complex business cases and process improvements
- Ability to multi-task and support multiple business partners
