The Amazon has invited applications for the post of Financial Analyst.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for building and managing critical performance indicators and business analyses and requires a candidate with strong project management skills, communication skills, and some technical experience.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing improved systems to measure business performance
- Developing and reporting on financial and operational performance metrics
- Financial and Non Financial analysis and evaluation of important new business initiatives
- Supporting the development of annual operating plan
- Long and short term financial planning
- Controllership of monthly financial reporting
- Partner with the business team to develop new ideas and creative solutions
Qualifications:
- CA/Bachelor’s degree in a business, economics, finance or similar discipline with analytical bias
- 7+ years of FP&A experience
- MBA a plus
- Financial Services Industry experiences a plus
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (i.e. Oracle, Red Shift, COGNOS)
- Strong analytical , communication and presentation skills
- Process improvement experience
- Superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Candidates must also have fluency in standard software including Excel
- Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in gathering, analyzing and synthesizing business requirements from multiple sources
