The Hp has invited applications for the post of Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploying data analytical principles to identify anomalies in HP Financial data
  • Analyze, assess and improve client’s finance functions and drive bottom line impact based on the methodologies outlined by Asset Recovery Management
  • Implementing cost reduction initiatives, conducting spend analytics, contract analytics, financial analysis, procurement risk analysis and supplier performance assessment
  • Review contracts, agreements, paperwork, ERP and electronic documents to identify possible anomalies in transactional processing
  • Conducting reviews by examining a client’s accounts payable financial data utilizing appropriate audit concepts and proprietary tools/reports
  • Corresponds with the stakeholder for any question or explanation required; facilitate resolution of major supplier/vendor issues for a favorable outcome; engage in discussions with stakeholder regarding the review findings and dispute resolution
  • Implement tailormade initiatives devised by Asset Recovery Management
  • Develop strategic reports to provide predicative analytics that allow our leaders to augment business decisions
  • Generates powerful insights on a broad range of client situations, translating them into innovation solutions and client results
  • Identify technology improvements that can differentiate Asset Recovery
  • Identify processes suitable for automation solutions that improve the client’s ability to optimize reporting strategies and processes, identify and reduce leakages and streamline existing processes 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, economics, business, management, related disciplines
  • Overall experience of 6 – 10 years; Minimum 4 years of experience in global consulting firm with a focus on the Finance Strategies or Financial Service Delivery, Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Finance or Service Operations
  • Candidates with experience in Big 4 Audit firms will be preferred
  • Solid project delivery experience; having been part of complex, multi-function/multi-stakeholder projects in a large corporate environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high commitment to quality client service
  • Strong track-record in effectively developing market credibility in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to motivate a team with enthusiasm, drive and effectiveness
  • Strong sense in business development is required. Proven track record in business development activities is a definite advantage
  • Professional finance or accounting qualification (CFE, CPA, ACCA, CA, CIMA, etc) would be an added advantage
  • The incumbent should be able to maintain high accuracy, productivity standards and should have willingness to learn
