Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, led the 28th meeting of the Financial Stability and Development Council today in New Delhi. The session, which saw the presence of MoS Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad, brought together key stakeholders from various financial domains to deliberate on crucial issues impacting India’s economic landscape.

Among the prominent attendees were the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, the Finance Secretary, the Secretary of the Department of Expenditure, Secretaries from the Departments of Economic Affairs and Revenue, representatives from Department of Financial Services and Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the Chief Economic Adviser, and Chairpersons from regulatory bodies such as SEBI, PFRDA, IFSCA, and IBBI, along with senior officials from Finance Ministry.

Led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the meeting highlighted the need to keep our finances stable and develop strong strategies for growth in changing economic times. They talked about policies to make our finances stronger, tackle new problems, and boost growth in different areas.
