In a recent development, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) is considering the postponement of the Chartered Accountancy ( CA ) Examination scheduled for May 2024. This potential delay stems from the impending General Lok Sabha Elections 2024, which are anticipated to overlap with the current examination dates.
In an official announcement dated February 14th, ICAI highlighted the significance of the upcoming General Elections to the 18th Lok Sabha, scheduled for 2024, with the notification awaiting release.
