The Central Government today extended the date of filing returns under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act (CGST), 2017.
As per the Notification, the details of outward Supplies in FORM GSTR-1 under s. 37 of the CGST for the month of July and August shall be filed from 1st to 5th September, 2017 and 16th to 20th September, 2017 respectively.
The Time period for filing of details of inward supplies in FORM GSTR-2 for the period June and August is from 6th to 10th September, 2017 and 21st to 25th September, 2017 .
Further, the time limit for filing monthly returns in FORM GSTR-3 for these two months is 11th to 15th September, 2017 and 26th to 30th September, 2017.
