The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) recently issued circular assigning Officers for the purpose of provisions relating to Registration and Composition levy.
As per the circular, Assistant/ Deputy Commissioner of Central Tax, Assistant/ Deputy Director of Central Tax and Superintendent of Central tax are entrusted with the above functions.
The Board also directed its Officials to issue Trade Notices in this regard to publicize the contents of the circular.
