Performance by state has been inconsistent.  Significant increases were reported by a number of states and union territories: Haryana saw a 20 percent increase in collections, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh saw a 14 percent increase, and even the Center Jurisdiction saw an astounding 45 percent increase.  But not every region had the same pace; Ladakh and Lakshadweep witnessed significant drops, while Jammu and Kashmir saw a minor 2 percent fall.

The overall trajectory indicates a strong GST system that keeps developing and making a substantial contribution to the national exchequer, even though these figures are preliminary and subject to final changes.
