GST GoI, the official twitter handle of the Central Government created to address the queries of the tax payers on the newly implemented Goods and Services Tax (GST) has recently issued a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on immovable property.
It stated that person residing at Delhi having no business there or elsewhere shall pay Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) for the rental income received by him in respect of his commercial property located at NOIDA. It was clarified that in such cases, the person shall obtain registration in Delhi which is the usual place of residence.
