The Goods and Services Tax Portal ( GST Portal ) of India will be temporarily unavailable for users on 03 August 2024. The Government of India has announced that the portal will undergo maintenance and enhancement services starting at 12:00 AM and will remain offline until 07:00 AM on the same day.
The Goods and Services Tax Network ( GSTN ) has launched the revamped Goods and Services Tax ( GST )Â Portal on 3rd May, 2024.

The updated portal comes with the following features: These enhancements have been implemented and GSTN will provide further updates as these changes are rolled out.
News and Updates Section: A dedicated tab for news and updates has been introduced, featuring a beta search function, module-wise drop-down menus, and access to archived advisories dating back to 2017.
User Interface Improvements: Minor adjustments have been made to the homepage to improve usability and aesthetics, making it more user-friendly.
Updated Website Policy: The website policy has been updated, including revisions to the data archival policy. Additionally, details about web managers have been incorporated.

In an official statement, the GST portal's homepage (www.gst.gov.in) notified users of the planned downtime, highlighting the improvements and updates intended to enhance the overall user experience and functionality of the portal.
The announcement reads: "We shall be enhancing services on the GST portal on 3rd Aug '24 12:00 AM onwards. GST Portal services will not be available until 3rd Aug '24 07:00 AM. The inconvenience caused is regretted."

The portal will be offline from 12:00 AM to 07:00 AM on 03 August 2024.
