The National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) has issued detailed guidelines for the GST practitioners Exam for the candidates.
The NACIN has been authorized to conduct an examination for confirmation of enrollment of Goods and Services Tax Practitioners (GSTPs) in terms of the sub-rule (3) of Rule 83 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, vide Notification No. 24/2018-Central Tax dated 28.5.2018.
The first exam was conducted on 31st October 2018, the result of which are published last week.
The guidelines prescribes the norms for filling up application form, appearing in the Examination and the post-examination representation and its disposal.
The second exam for GST Practitioners which was scheduled on 7th December 2018 has been postponed to 17th December.
