Under the updated system, applicants will receive an email after submitting Form GST REG-01, providing a link for one of two processes: OTP-based Aadhaar authentication or an appointment booking for biometric authentication and document verification at a GST Suvidha Kendra (GSK).

If OTP-based authentication is applicable, the applicant can proceed as per the existing process. However, if the biometric route is required, applicants must book an appointment at the designated GSK via the link provided in the email.

The functionality includes the option to select a convenient schedule for the GSK visit. During the visit, applicants must carry the appointment confirmation email, jurisdiction details, Aadhaar and PAN cards (original copies), and the original documents uploaded with the application. Biometric authentication and document verification will be conducted at the GSK for all individuals specified in Form REG-01.

Applicants are advised to complete the biometric process within the permissible timeline mentioned in the email. Upon successful authentication and verification, an ARN (Application Reference Number) will be generated. The operation days and hours of GSKs will adhere to the state administration's guidelines.
