Haryana Excise Commissioner issues Instructions regarding allocation of Roadside Checking duty to ETOs and filing of FIR by field officers [Read Instructions]

The Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Haryana issued instructions regarding the allocation of roadside checking duty to ETOs and filing of FIR by field officers.
It has been decided by the State Government that the Excise and Taxation Officers or Assistant Excise and Taxation Officers in-charge of the wards shall not be assigned roadside checking duties.
It has also been decided that no officer shall lodge a First Information Report (FIR) in any case without the prior approval of the Excise and Taxation Commissioner
