Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Chartered Accountant )

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HP’s external financial reporting activities including the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, and other SEC filings as required.
  • Ensure continued compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data through strong control environment – actively prepare, analyze and document assigned key controls.
  • Support audit procedures and reporting inquiries; interact frequently with internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure timeliness of financial reporting deliverables
  • Actively performs benchmarking analyses to ensure HP’s financials are comparable and compliant.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on disclosure matters (e.g., legal, investor relations, FP&A, business leads).
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engage in the design.
  • Collaborate closely with investor relations team on the earnings materials.
  • Frequently interact with business groups, corporate controller and other corporate departments.
  • Support complex financial analysis and exercise a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
  • Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
