The HP invited applications for the post Financial Reporting Analyst
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Chartered Accountant )
- Typically 6+ years of experience in a finance function

Key Responsibilities:
- Support HP’s external financial reporting activities including the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, and other SEC filings as required.
- Ensure continued compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data through strong control environment – actively prepare, analyze and document assigned key controls.
- Support audit procedures and reporting inquiries; interact frequently with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure timeliness of financial reporting deliverables
- Actively performs benchmarking analyses to ensure HP’s financials are comparable and compliant.
Other Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on disclosure matters (e.g., legal, investor relations, FP&A, business leads).
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engage in the design.
- Collaborate closely with investor relations team on the earnings materials.
- Frequently interact with business groups, corporate controller and other corporate departments.
- Support complex financial analysis and exercise a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
- Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
