ICAI Announces CA Final, Inter & Foundation September 2025 Exams: Check Dates and Fees

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has officially announced the schedule for the Chartered Accountants ( CA ) Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations for September 2025.

As per the notification dated 30th May 2025, the exams will be held across multiple centres in India and nine overseas locations, subject to a sufficient number of candidates opting in.

EXAMINATION DATES

Final Course

• Group I: 3rd, 6th, and 8th September 2025
• Group II: 10th, 12th, and 14th September 2025

Intermediate Course

• Group I: 4th, 7th, and 9th September 2025
• Group II: 11th, 13th, and 15th September 2025

Foundation Course

• 16th, 18th, 20th, and 22nd September 2025

No examinations will be held on 5th September 2025 (Friday) due to the gazetted holiday of Milad-un-Nabi. The institute also clarified that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Bodies.

EXAMINATION TIMINGS:

All exams will commence at 2:00 PM IST. However, the duration varies:

• Foundation Papers 3 & 4: 2 Hours
• Final Paper 6: 4 Hours
• All other papers: 3 Hours

Advance reading time of 15 minutes (from 1:45 PM) will be given for all papers except Foundation Papers 3 & 4 and the MCQ portion of composite papers.

EXAM CENTRES

The exams will be conducted in multiple Indian cities and 9 overseas locations, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Muscat, Kuwait, Riyadh, Kathmandu, Thimphu, and Bahrain.

EXAM APPLICATION & FEES

Online Application Window:

• Opens: 5th July 2025 (Saturday)
• Closes: 18th July 2025 (Friday)
• With Late Fee: Till 21st July 2025 (Monday)

Correction Window: 22nd to 24th July 2025

Fees:

• Foundation (India): ₹1500
• Intermediate (Both Groups - India): ₹2700
• Final (Both Groups - India): ₹3300
