ICAI announces Completion of MCS Course and Advanced IT Course through Virtual Mode for students appearing for May 2021 Final course exam

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the completion of the MCS Course and Advanced IT Course through Virtual Mode as one-time measure for students appearing for May 2021 Final course exam.

In view of the ongoing spurt of the COVID-19 virus pandemic and subsequent suspension of IT and Soft Skills Classes all across the country, the Institute has decided that the students of May 2021 Final course, exam as one time measure, can undergo MCS and Advanced IT Course through Virtual Mode can undergo the aforestated Courses through virtual mode to be conducted by the respective regional and branch offices of ICAI.

“The portal for undergoing Virtual MCS/Adv.IT classes will be LIVE from 15th September, 2020 for which students are required to visit www.icaionlineregistration.org or contact the respective branch for registration in launched batches,” the ICAI announced.

The institute elaborated on guidelines for students undergoing MCS /ADV IT Training through Virtual Mode.

Firstly, the course registration will be through https://www.icaionlineregistration.org by paying the requisite fees online. The reduced Fees for MCS & Advanced IT Course as a one-time measure (due to COVID-19) is from Rs.7000/- to Rs.5000/- and from Rs.7500 to Rs.5500/- respectively.

Secondly, the registered students will be sent the virtual platform link by the PoUs/Branches.

Thirdly, the students will register in the branch that is at the nearest location to their
residential /communication address as maintained with ICAI.

Fourthly, attendance will be marked in between sessions and in mid sessions and the student should have Internet facility.

Fifthly, students are required to complete the Course without discontinuity. Students not
attending classes for any particular day will be marked absent and will have
to compensate their attendance in another batch in the same PoU.

Sixthly, students are required to maintain discipline and decorum apart from adhering to the
formal dress code. For misbehavior / nuisance in the class, the faculty will have the power to make a note and on the basis of which, the issue of Programme Completion Certificate may be withheld.
