ICAI announces Dates for FATA Online Assessment Test

The Fundamental and Technical Analysis (FATA) online assessment test is scheduled to take place on March 14, 2023, according to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The examination will take place on March 25 and 26, 2023.

The Committee on Financial Markets and Investors’ Protection of ICAI organised the Certificate Course on Fundamental and Technical Analysis of Stocks including Equity Research (FATA) through Digital Learning Hub.

The evaluation is a two-day test, with Paper 1 being conducted on the first day (March 25) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Paper 2 being conducted on the second day (26th March).

Two days prior to the exam date is the deadline for face authentication at the ICAI digital learning hub. All eligible members of the 4th batch of FATA are entitled to register for the exam without paying anything. Moreover, older candidates from earlier batches may pay the exam cost of Rs. 1180 through this link.

The candidates should be aware that no further extensions will be given for finishing the face authentication process; instead, they should finish it within the allotted time.

Prerequisites for the FATA Assessment Test:

  1. Active ICAI membership number
  2. Completion of the Eligibility Criteria (90%attendance in the virtual Professional Training)
  3. Desktop/ Laptop with good internet connectivity
  4. Camera attached with Desktop/ Laptop
  5. Active login at Digital Learning Hub of ICAI (ICAI Digital Learning Hub) (Please note SSP Login credentials are used)
  6. Completion of Face Registration Activity at ICAI Digital Learning Hub by 1:30 PM of 2 Days before date of Exam
  7. Also ensure that your recent photo is uploaded on your SSP dashboard.
  8. Launch of the Assessment enables Face Authentication to confirm liveliness (Blink of eyes)

It should be noted that the application requests received after the aforementioned last date would not be entertained under any circumstances and members have to appear in the next Assessment Test.
