ICAI announces Launching Date of 35th Batch of ‘Certificate Course on Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

The Accounting Standards Board (ASB) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)hasannounced the launch of online batch 35 of the ‘Certificate Course on Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)’. The Batch will bestarting from 16^th July 2022.

“The ASB wishes to inform its Members that this course shall impart a ‘reasonable / working level’ knowledge of the Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). Members are encouraged to seek an In-depth knowledge through self-study of the standards after undergoing this course & also by attending the ‘Deep Dive / Deeper Insight’ series of Refresher courses that are conducted by the ASB from time to time, the ICAI stated in an announcement.

Once a member pays the fee for the course, he/she will have to go to the MY PRODUCTS area inside the learning portal and do their Face Registration to enable access to the course. To launch the Face Registration process, Members will have to click on the launch button appearing in the Ind AS course link inside the MY PRODUCTS screen. The Face registration requires your laptop / PC to have a camera. It is advisable NOT to do it using your mobile device. Once the Face Registration is done, you may close the window. The Digital Learning Hub (DLH) team shall take up to a week to approve the Face Registration.

Also, the above Face Registration will be approved by matching the image taken with the photo you have uploaded in your SSP portal account. So kindly ensure that your photo is present in the SSP portal else the Face Registration won’t be accepted. Members who have already done the Face Registration on the DLH portal earlier i.e., for some other course / examination with ICAI; need not do it again.
