ICAI CA Results 2023: 13k New Chartered Accountants added to CA Fraternity

The examination results for the CA Final and Inter conducted in May 2023 have been announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The institution has provided the pass percentage, and it has been revealed that 13,430 candidates have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants.

In the CA Final exam, the pass rate for students who cleared both groups is only 8.33 percent. Out of the 25,841 students who appeared, only 2,152 managed to pass both groups. The pass percentage for Group 1 stands at 11.91% out of 57,067 candidates, and for Group 2, it is 31.43% of 61,844 candidates. Comparing these results to the previous year’s, it shows a decline in the overall pass rate.

Coming to CA Inter, 10.24 percentage of 39195 has passed the both groups of the exam. In Group I, 18.95 percent of 100781 passed. And in Group II, 23.44 percent of 81956 cleared.

The pass rate of CA Final conducted in November 2022 in both groups is 11.09% which is higher as compared to May 2023 examination results.

ICAI CA Final and Intermediate Result: How to check

1. Visit the official site of ICAI at icai.org. Or https://icai.nic.in/caresult/
2. Click on the ICAI CA Final Result 2023 and CA Inter Result 2023 link available on the home page.
3. Enter the login details and click on submit. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
4. Check the result and download the page. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
5. Along with the results, the Institute has also released the final merit list.

The CA Intermediate exam was conducted on May 3 till May 18 in 2023, and the CA final exam was conducted on May 2 till May 17 in 2023.

As the ICAI changed the syllabus, it would be more difficult for the candidates to clear exams in future.
